Where to start

Speak to the scholar ghost near the lower side of the central statue. They want to see farther but have misplaced their telescope.

• Required: No special outfit
• Reward: Talented trait

Step-by-step solution

1. 1

   Walk to the far beach

   Follow the lower shoreline toward the small rowboat and short green dock at the edge of town.

2. 2

   Pick up the telescope

   Interact with the long telescope lying at the beach edge. Your character carries it upright, which looks odd but is correct.

3. 3

   Return to the statue plaza

   Carry it back to the green-clothed scholar ghost beside the central statue and finish the dialogue.

4. 4

   Equip Talented when needed

   Completing the handoff unlocks the Talented trait used by the music quest.

• Do not pick up a second object while carrying the telescope.
