Step-by-step solution

1. 1

   Complete the song request

   Deliver the trumpet ghost's tune to Ghost Malone first.

2. 2

   Return uphill

   Go back to the trumpet ghost beside the flower shop near the lighthouse.

3. 3

   Finish the second conversation

   Listen as the ghost admits they never liked playing the trumpet. Completing the dialogue frees their spirit.

4. 4

   Equip Flying

   The reward appears in the middle ability row and opens the offshore routes.

Common blockers

• If this does not complete, talk to Ghost Malone again and exhaust the dialogue.
• Flying works by pressing Jump a second time in the air.
